One of the Movement's goals is to document and publish the struggle and contribution of Pashtun women heroes from different walks of life, through  research articles, op-ed and books. So, WAAK’s yearly calendar is part of that goal.

In this calendar WAAK has collected short biographies and photos of those who were/are contributing in the fields of Politics, Education, writings, freedom, sports and have remained being icon of resistance against the imposed terrorism, extremism to struggle for the fundamental rights.

In the first phase this Calendar had focused on 12 Pashtun female figures equally representing four geographies Khyber Pashtunkhwa (North Pashtunkhwa), Ex-Fata (Central Pashtunkhwa), Pashtun inhabited areas of Balochistan (South Pashtunkhwa) and Afghanistan

As WAAK—believe in the life of heroes, so beside the lost ones the living heroes would be included.

Since WAAK is a political movement and it is being supported solely by its members and the community, therefore they collect membership fee to arrange events .
