Susan Oliver recorded a remake of Little Anthony and the Imerials hit song, "Tears on my Pillow" on Intro Records in 1987. The music video which featured a cameo apperance by Johnny Rodriguez, was voted "most requested video" on TNN.
"Tears was a real success. It hit the charts and received the highest ratings by fans on the nationally televised show Video Country. Oliver followed up with appearances on television talk shows and an award to commemorate her first nationally charted single by Cashbox." - Sweet Potato Magazine
Susan grew up in Orono Maine where she studied art and began singing as part of a folk duo called "Dirigo" with fellow musician Cindy Bond-Campbell. Together they toured New England and then formed "Dirigo" the band. Later the band evolved into the "Susan Oliver Band". Susan and her band shared the stage opening for acts such as; Bobby Bare, Bill Haley's Comets, Mel McDaniels, Shelly West and Reba MacIntire.
Susan now resides in Nashville,TN, where she is still performing and is currently recording a self written christian CD with grammy nominated producer Robert White-Johnson.
