Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School is located at Singanallur, Coimbatore, India. ^[1]During 1980 period in Coimbatore, there was intense shortage for Quality Schools in India. So several Industrialist came forward to start Schools for their employees. One Such School Started in Coimbatore District was "Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School". It was Started with the Blessings of Jagathguru Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal.

Introduction

Sri Jayendra Saraswathy vidyalaya Trust was founded by late sri.D.Balasundaram a pioneer industrialist of coimbatore, in the year 1980 with three more enthusiastic trust members Mrs.Kamalam Balasundaram,Mr.B.Jayacandran and Smt.Dhanalakshmi Jayachandran.With the blessings of H.H.Jagathguru Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Swamigal of Kanchi Mutt the school came into being on June 16th 1980.It is a co-educational school.Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Educational Institutions comprising of both the Matriculation Higher Secondary School and an Arts and Science College is managed by a Board of trustees of Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Trust.The school believes that the educational process must be rooted in the country's tradition and culture.So every effort is taken to preserve a harmonious blend of values,ancient and Modern,Secular and Spiritual.This concept is incorporated even in our layout and Architecture.The school is secular and cosmopolitan in outlook.The trust has glorious history of its school, Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School.The school is known for its character building and value based foundation that draws inspiration from life and teaching of Adi Sankara since 1980.There is a great emphasis on including new methods of teaching through latest technologies, in order to make education more consequential and more contemporary. The school has pioneered in introducing ‘X-Seed’(from STD LKG to V)and‘EDURITE’(from VI to XII).It greatly emphasizes on work with practical orientation and curricular experimentation. The school has its remarkable excellent for about two decades wanted to fabricate Arts & Science College and formed an idealistic form of education for all.

The School is one of the very few schools in the state enjoying the status of permanent recognition of the Matriculation Board of Exams of the Govt. of Tamilnadu.The School prepares Std.12 students for the state Board Higher Secondary Exams of the Govt.of Tamilnadu.

Teaching Faculty

Jayendra School has teaching faculty consists of a team of dedicated staff.They are highly qualified professionals in their fields with several years of experience.They are trained counsellor to deal with the present day problems like the stress to preform and adolescent problems.The students are encouraged to speak out their problems.The staff devise special programme for academically weak students through special coaching classes after school hours.To keep the staff focused and motivated, the management conducts frequent H.R.D programs. Jayendra gives equal imporatnce to Physical Education in par with studies.It has an outstanding record in Athletics,Cricket,Hockey<kababdi and Volley Ball.School play ground has been the venue for Zonal Sports meets and for National Level Sports meets satisfying the requirements of sports specifications. Jayendra has won laurels for their achievement in Hockey,Volley Ball,Athletics,Cricket and Kabbadi.

Emerald : Green
Ruby : Red
Saffire : Blue

Ever year during February month Annul Sports Day Event is Conducted. Officer Bearers are recognized by reputed personalities.
