LAKHNOTI is a small village near Purquazi town in Muzaffarnagar district. It is located near the U.P. - Uttaranchal border. Mostly Rathi(almost 75%) from JAT caste live here, rest 25% are SC/ST. It is a peaceful village, from last 25 years there is no big crime in this area. More than 100 years before two bothers Choudhary Chhajju singh rathi and Choudhary Mangat singh rathi were allocted Zamindara of this village, who migrated from Haryana (Khedar) to this village. Agriculture is the main profession of this village. Still this village is waiting for Industrial development. Education, Drinking water, Road and Electricity are the main concern of this village.
