My name is Sayed Suhail, prefer being called Suhail. I am a Muslim, but do not adhere to a particular school of thought, but majorly influenced by Qur'anist scholars. I work at a call centre in India and do some volunteering work in the weekends and a little bit of work on Wikipedia. People who inspire me most are Prophet Muhammad and Prophet Yusuf and all other prophets of Allah, next to them I find inspirations in the legacies of people like Malcolm X and Ahmed Deedat. Among living people, my intellect finds agreement with the opinions of Dr.Shabbir Ahmed and Shaykh Yassir Fazaga.
My understanding of Islam explains the downtrodden state of Muslims today. Today's form of Islam is the one ridiculed By allah in Surah Al Ma'oon where the muslim so busily engrossed in his rituals does not do anything for the upliftment of humanity. The purpose of the ritual is to motivate the individual to do acts of community service but the ritual in itself being thought of as a service to God is a very destructive thought. This is the cause of the destruction of the muslims.
