Violinist, educator and university administrator. BM Oberlin Conservatory (1961); MA California State University at Northridge (1962); DMA University of Colorado (1972). Studied violin with Victor Palmason, William Swettman, Andor Toth, Paul Shure, Theodor Muller, and Dorothy DeLay. Performed with the Hungarian Quartet, also with Sydney Harth, violin, and in masterclasses for Henryk Szeryng and Nathan Milstein. Held academic positions at Clarion University, PA; Jacksonville University, FL; and East Carolina University, NC, where he retired in 2005 as the Director of the School of Music. Currently a database and web developer, and an artist manager.
