Career
editSince graduating from the University of the Arts London, Rappak has directed award winning short films, released and toured two full length albums with his former band Breton (2007-2015), and created immersive cinema experiences that toured from the BFI London[1] to the ACMI Australia[2].
Rappak is now frontman of the band Miro Shot that started as a creative collective in 2016. They began experimenting with blending game engines, virtual reality and live performance to create a brand new type of concert that's been critically acclaimed by international media such as Forbes[3], the BBC[4], and Music Ally[5].
Miro shot premiered their immersive VR performance at the Center for Contemporary Art in Amsterdam in 2017[6]. Since then, the band has showcased their new type of live immersive concert at various locations in Amsterdam, Paris, and London, ranging from galleries, cinemas, theaters, and warehouses.
2020 saw the release of the band’s debut full-length album, CONTENT[7], which explores how our relationship with technology has shaped the world around us. It explores the themes of data, technology, gaming, and online culture[8].
