My name is Sean O'Connell, a Lawyer, History and Geo-Politics enthusiast. I have recently found wikipedia to be a constructive and fascinating platform to add nuanced information to well-known and under developed topics.

I have found the wikipedia community to be largely accommodating and collaborative, which is a good sign for a platform that relies on piecing together credible information.

Wikipedia allows us to fact-check information and be objective. And if there are differing perspectives, the discussion pages allow us to have a productive discourse on certain information - to guard against coordinated activity and a distortion of the facts.

In my interest of history as well as literature - I believe that "Trend based group thinking" can obscure a direct and efficient path forward - if it be based on "trends", and "emotion", rather than probative evidence and facts.

On this, I believe that principle, and facts should guide the path forward, which in this context, relates to the presentation of information.
