Wikipediais such a great way to be active online-editing anything that's wrong, meeting great people and there's so much to do, so what could be the problem? Well let me spill out the problem in two words: IP RIGHTS.

There is a lot of discrimiations of IP's that faces them in Wikipedia. To get the idea, I managed to dig deep and narrow the files of discrimation to only 3

Barely recognized for works

What really annoys me is that many editors hardly recognize the hard work that IP's pull into the community. Heck, there are pages that want to make account creations A REQUIREMENT. IP's aren't allowed to create pages, which should be an option on wikipedia (english wikipedia is probably the only sister project that doesn't alow IP's to create pages ie Simple English Wikipedia allows it, just look at this accounts accomplishment, too bad he was blocked though). They can't become administrators or even be awarded Barnstars (even on other sister projects). It hurts man, it hurts.

less privilages

Another one is that they get less privilages than accounts. They can't be admins and recieve awards (see above), create bots and many WikiProjects refuse to allow IP's to join.

Scapegoats

These poor IP's have been subjected to harsh criticisms because many are vandals. Forget Sockpuppets, and Uncyclopedians, many point their finger at IP's. It's like being accuse of theft even though it was obvious it was that hobo down the street. I believe this "IP are vandals" stereotypes are the cause of their suffering. Many of the Vandal-repellant kits are always affecting IPs (such as the protection key). So please stop pointing your (as in those who blame IPs for everything) finger at IPs and start looking at the other causes!
