Milo Greene is an American indie-folk band from Los Angeles, California. The group consists of Robbie Arnett, Graham Fink, Marlana Sheetz, Andrew Heringer, and Curtis Marrero. The band's origins date back to 2009 when then University of California, Irvine students Heringer, Arnett, and Sheetz created a fictitious manager named Milo Greene to help promote, through email, their individual musical projects. In 2009, the three began collaborating on music, eventually convincing Fink and Marrero to join them. [1]
The band is known for lacking a single lead singer. Aside from Marrero on drums, the remaining four band members collectively handle the vocal duties, illustrated by frequent four-part harmonies in their music. The band is also known for switching instruments from song to song during live shows, again excluding Marrero who remains on drums for the entirety of the show. [2]
Their self-titled debut album will be released on July 17th, 2012.
