Hi my name is Dary Mc Govern. I'm the Managing Director of a UK company, who are the developers of a web-based application that provides:

• a charting and alerting (scanning) service designed for traders who use price, volume and technical analysis charts to judge entry and exit investment timing.

• investment club software that manages members subscriptions, unit valuation system, portfolio performance, tax returns etc.

• a unit fund valuation system that enables private investors to track their investment performance over time

My area of interest is investment education relating to investing in stocks and options in the UK and US markets. One of the reasons for contributing towards topics such as the use of support levels and trend lines is that I felt that the existing information provided was either sparse or too complicated for the first time reader; secondly I felt that there there was a big gap between the knowledge provided and how it can be pratically implemented.
