(Ninjutsu Terms) is... (A page to help you understand the 4 basic categories in defense.)
- 1 The main basics of learning any move in Ninjutsu, can be separated into 4 separate terms. In time, you will find it's easy to recognize and memorize these terms and what they mean. These 4 terms of category (kihon) for the moves you will learn are known as the following:
-Tachikata (stances) -Tsuki (punches) -Uke (blocks) -Geri (kicks)
- 2 Each kihon term you see above, will act as the "base" or "ending" to the full name of the move. This would help you to quickly recognize the type of move you may be asked to demonstrate or perform. This also helps in stealth if you have to demonstrate this in a place with numerous people where most people may not know the official name for these moves/hence not knowing they could be the names of attacks, which helps to not alarm those around you or frighten them.
