Gtel (Gtelecoms Zimbabwe) is a Zimbabwean mobile phone manufacturer based in Harare, Zimbabwe. Founded in 2012, it is one of Zimbabwe's largest mobile phone manufacturers.
The company's mission thus far has been "to connect everyone through world-class, affordable, innovative and accessible products and services", and to date, they have managed to fulfill that mission. According to Techzim, "Gtel has managed to become the dominant brand in the civil service market thanks to the credit facility they have made available to civil servants". Having been operation for three years, it began expanding outside Zimbabwe into the rest of Africa early 2015.
Gtelecoms has one processing plant, located in China. After 2013, the mobile manufacturer began focusing on slimmer smartphones, and by 2015, it's A755 SL5.1 was it's slimmest ever with a body of just 5.1mm.
