Djibouti Air In 2011 private investment Lootah Group of UAE, agreed to Djibouti Government to setting up and re-launching the national airline and scheduled to start its operation by flying Djibouti to Dubai on 3 March 2011. Initially it will start with Boeing 737-200 with two-class configuration of Business and Economy.
History
editDjibouti Air initially started off as a "flag carrier" when Djibouti established its first state-owned airline company. Several years after operating, due to economy downside airline stopped its operation in early 90’s. The second attempt for an airline carrier by the name of Djibouti Air was operational from 1996 however, failed again few years later.
