'Craig F. Halket' Craig F. Halket is a former TV host on MuchMusic. He most recently was the Head of Music for MTV Canada and MuchMusic. He started his career at MuchMusic in 1986. He became a programmer in the late 80s and distiguished himself with his unique style of programming, encompassing multiple genres of music. He became a member of the MuchMusic Video Screening committee in the early 90s. He was the VJ/host of the highly rated MuchMusic show "Combat Des Clips" from 1991 to 1997. He also worked regularly as a VJ in the mid 90s, and interviewed numerous music artists such as Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, ZZ Top, Peter Frampton, Meat Loaf, Jewel, and Matthew Sweet. He was also the producer of the MuchMusic Rock show, Start Me Up. He became Head of Music for MuchMusic in 2000, and MTV Canada in 2007.
Craig also made a name for himself by dedicating his time to experiencing new musical acts and working hard to develop and encourage a Canadian music star system.
Craig is married to Sandra Halket and has two daughters, Alexi and Marlee.
He currently works as a freelance music industry consultant helping the careers of up and coming Canadian music artists.
