Litlisted was started as a blog, on January 1st, 2017 and was hosted on Google's Blogger. It was started by Shantanu Sharma in his final year of Computer Engineering graduation course. It began as a hobby, but later turned into something greater. The team decided to move it to Wordpress a month later, when they were more confident about what they had created.
The Motive
editThis site came into existence because the founder had a passion about writing and conveying knowledge to a wider audience. It was quite clear that there is not better platform than the internet. The site comprises of great quality articles, which are made in the form of lists. The lists are suitable for all kinds of people to read. If people have more time then they can read the entire content, and the ones who are running short of browsing time can get a fair idea about the knowledge shared in the article by going through the sub-headings, which are short but descriptive. The lists are not numerically limited to show a particular number of points, rather the founder thought that it would be "injustice" to both the readers and the authors to convey their words in a limited list. Also, some articles have a deeper meaning which can be conveyed only in the form of a narrative, and for this purpose the founder created a category The Unlisted Perspectives, which includes those articles which are not in the form of a list.
