Ethan Banville new article content ... Ethan Banville (born October 1973) is an American and Canadian television writer. He is most well known for his writing on the hit show "iCarly" and the Emmy Award winning "Word Girl."

Writing career In 2004, Banville worked with kids' TV hit-maker Dan Schneider where he co-wrote the teleplay for an episode of the sitcom "What I Like About You" entitled "The Party" for the show's first season. Schneider went on to hire him to write on three of his other shows including "Drake & Josh", "Zoey 101" and "iCarly." Banville has also worked in animation, writing two episodes of the Emmy Award winning PBS series "Word Girl" entitled "Princess Triana and the Ogre of Castlebum" and "Granny Mae's Good Time All Cure Spritzer." He's written on two series in Canada, "Really Me" and "My Babysitter's a Vampire" which airs in the U.S. on The Disney Channel. He is currently writing an episode for season two of "My Babysitter's a Vampire" and will be returning to write on season two of "Really Me." "T.A.G.", a feature film he co-wrote is currently filming in Los Angeles.

Other Television work Banville served as a writer on the hit FUEL TV skateboarding talk show series "The Captain and Casey Show."
