This page is for submitting signatures with just font tags so that the bot can fix all pages with the signatures. Replacements for the signatures are considered first, then the regex replacements, then the four with color attribute six more times to fix some consecutive font tags; if there are still font tags left over, the page is skipped.
Any signature with font tags that you submit will be processed into the check subpage. Please ensure that you read the "points to note" section before submitting. This task has been planned to take over part of MalnadachBot 12, specifically font tags.
How to submit
editTo submit a signature, use this format: # (Username's signature): x (linked) pages (signature code)
For optional comments, append with ; (optional comments)
. Replace (optional comments)
with anything you want to add onto the submission.
Example:
- Suriel1981: 1,595 pages (
[[User:Suriel1981|<font color="#9400D2" face="comic sans ms"><strong>ŞůṜīΣĻ</strong></font><font color="#00008C" face="Papyrus">¹98¹</font>]][[User talk:Suriel1981|<font COLOR="#DC143C"><strong>Speak</strong></font>]]
)
Code:
# Suriel1981: [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?search=insource%3A%2Ffont+color%3D%5C%22%5C%239400D2%5C%22+face%3D%5C%22comic+sans+ms%5C%22%5C%3E%5C%3Cstrong%5C%3E%C5%9E%C5%AF%E1%B9%9C%C4%AB%CE%A3%C4%BB%2F&title=Special:Search&profile=advanced&fulltext=1&ns0=1&ns1=1&ns2=1&ns3=1&ns4=1&ns5=1&ns6=1&ns7=1&ns8=1&ns9=1&ns10=1&ns11=1&ns12=1&ns13=1&ns14=1&ns15=1&ns100=1&ns101=1&ns118=1&ns119=1&ns710=1&ns711=1&ns828=1&ns829=1&ns2300=1&ns2301=1&ns2302=1&ns2303=1 1,595] pages (<code><nowiki>[[User:Suriel1981|<font color="#9400D2" face="comic sans ms"><strong>ŞůṜīΣĻ</strong></font><font color="#00008C" face="Papyrus">¹98¹</font>]][[User talk:Suriel1981|<font COLOR="#DC143C"><strong>Speak</strong></font>]]</nowiki></code>)
Examples of signatures the regexes can't catch
edit- Signatures that do not create tidy font link bugs and whose font tags with color attribute wrap wikilinks and text other than one wikilink and text around it.
- Signatures with unusual attributes (e.g. <font color="#00FH00">something</font>), or with three or more, without the use of color face and size only.
They are best handled by Legobot 41.
Signatures submitted get processed at batches of 30s.
Points to note
edit- If you submit a signature present on fewer than 50 pages, it will not be included in the batch of 30, although the bot will still run the pages with the signature. Therefore, it won't affect the statistics.
- Signatures submitted twice will most likely not be accepted.
- As the task says, only font tags linter errors will be fixed. Signatures with other linter errors must be submitted to this page.
- Malformed submissions may be corrected or removed.
Submissions
editSubmissions are unfortunately closed as the bot will be using this query.
