Sheila Gilmore hails from the Isle of Arran. Raised in the village of Brodick, she now lives in Shiskine.

Gilmore received her two degrees with the University of the Highlands & Islands. BA Child & Youth Studies[1] (Hons) and BA Childhood Practice[2]

Career

Gilmore worked in education for 18 years with North Ayrshire Council and has worked with VisitArran, the Destination Management Organisation since 2012
