Anime on Demand is an anime video on Demand service for the UK and Ireland operated by Kazé in association with Anime News Network.[1][2][3][4] Its launch in April 2011 was marred by delays in the aftermath of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. Subscriptions are available in the form of season passes, which grant access to all the titles from that season in HD (720p, where available), and annual passes are also available. At least one whole series from each season will be available to watch free (in standard definition), as will the first four episodes of the other titles.
