Plot

This article is about the Rhinoceros and the dilemma whether it could be considered people friendly or not. Rhinoceros, in Nepal, is considered as a wild animal which are found in the subtropical grassland in Nepal, especially Chitwan National Park. However, it is always under threat of poaching due to its valuable horn and skin. Therefore, various conservation efforts have been put into to conserve the Rhinos including the participation of the residents around the forest. However, often times, Rhinoceros enter the residential area and destroys the properties and lives of people. This article highlights the Rhinoceros as a threat prone species with the destruction it has brought to the society. I have chosen this article as Rhinos contribute to the species diversity in Nepal but its efforts in conversation is putting humanity at risk.
