The Vernetta Smith Chehalis Timberland Library is a public library located in Chehalis, Washington.

History

Artwork

Behind the library on a retaining wall near the drive-thru is the mural, Nature's Library.^[1] The artwork was created and completed in 2024 by a local artist and the painting features a collection of local wildflowers. Within the mural are 26 hidden figures of animals indigenous to the Pacific Northwest.^[2]
