OBSESSIVE LOVE FOR MONEY BY ITSELF
IS A PROBLEM
Money may solve all the problems of those who think that human needs are only food, clothing and shelter. But 'human beings',in the real definition of the term, need much more than that.There are emotional needs like love and affection. There are social and cultural needs. All these are beyond the term of money. Moreover,the history of money only accounts for a negligible thousand years in our long existence. And good and evil have been with us throughout; with and without the presence of money.
Coming to the present,I think , poverty alone never leads to theft or crime . It is the craving to get-rich-quick by short cuts that leads to theft and crime. The obsessive love for money breeds greed. And this greed is the root cause of all evil. And now about happiness-for me happiness is a state of mind. I am fully aware that money can neither buy love nor happiness. Those who believe that material comforts in their wake will bring happiness are surely living under a gross misconception. Life will only prove it and those who chase money
unscrupulously will ultimately find that the obsessive love for money by itself is a problem-a grave problem at that.
