George Kingston was a British pastor and one of the founding figures of the Elim Pentecostal Church. He was the president of Elim from nnnn to nnnn.

Overview

George Kingston (1869-1948) was a significant figure in Elim's history. Desmond Cartwright, the Elim historian, relates some facts and points out that it was this man who first invited George Jeffreys to plant a church in England and this resulted in the first Elim church being established in England in 1921 https://elimgs.blogspot.com/2011/05/honouring-past.html (Blog - but pentecostal archive has better sources)

It appears that the issue of the Elim Evangel (the magazine that preceded Direction) that recorded the death of George Kingston on 28th December 1948 also recorded the birth of the current General Superintendent two days earlier." 1921 Churches outside of Ireland join Elim "By 1921, Pentecostal assemblies in the Welsh towns of Dowlais and Llaneli, along with Guernsey (Vazon) on the Channel Islands had joined the Elim Pentecostal Alliance. George Jeffreys continued preaching wherever he could in England, even during the war, but he never established any churches. But in 1921 he was asked by butcher George Kingston to hold meetings in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. Thus the first Elim work in England was established." (quote and source)
