Jim Root Signature Fender Telecaster

The Fender Jim Root Telecaster is a signature model of the Fender Telecaster electric guitar customized for American musician Jim Root.[1][2] The Fender Jim Root Jazzmaster is a signature model of the Fender Jazzmaster electric guitar customized for American musician Jim Root released February 28th 2014. After two previous signature fender guitars, the Jim Root Telecaster,and the Jim Root Stratocaster. The first release of the Jazzmaster came with the same specifications as his original two signature guitars and came in black with brushed chrome hardware and a set of brushed chrome EMG 81/60 active pickups. The difference from the first iteration and the second is that the second release came with EMG signature Jim Root Deamonum Pickups and a bound fingerboard and block inlays found on many vintage Jazzmasters, and a standard, non-compound radius. Jim Root had teased a signature set of EMG pickups on Premiere Guitar's Rig Rundown where he had a red and black sandblasted original launch Jazzmaster with an EMG Het-Set (James Hetfield's signature EMG pickups) The new Jazzmaster was announced on September 2 2019 on Stay Metal Ray's Youtube channel and was released with the 2019 Jazzmaster. With a mahogany body, an ebony fretboard, EMG 81/60 pickups, it is a guitar designed for rock and metal, the 2014 version is played on Slipknot's 2014 album .5: The Gray Chapter and the 2019 version is played on Slipknot's 2019 album We Are Not Your Kind.
