I am a Danish physicist, but mostly contribute with images. See also my userpages on Commons and the Danish Wikipedia. My main activities are at Commons, where I have initiated the Valued images project.

The only yet operational SAI KZ IV landing at Danish Air Show 2014. The Swedish count Folke Bernadotte used this very aircraft in his travels to negotiate the release of Danish prisoners in German concentration camps during the war.

Iceberg with a hole near Sanderson Hope south of Upernavik, Greenland. This photo demonstrates that it is possible to get a point and shoot photograph taken with a typical compact camera featured. I am honored that this photo is used as the lead image in water, which has about 5,000 page views per day.

The small settlement Naajaat, Greenland. Thanks to Noodle snacks for restitching the originals and Herbythyme for working on the overexposed areas.

Upernavik in midnight sun. Stitch of 2x10 images, edited by Mfield. Another previous and slightly more colorful version is featured on Commons. This image was selected as Picture of the Day on June 21, 2008, which is the national day in Greenland and also the longest day of the year, which I find fitting since it shows the midninght sun.
