National Association of Sessional GPs

Founded 1997 by a group of Sessional GPs with the aim to represent all fully qualified GPs working as locums, assistants, salaried GP and retainers.
The organisation has a Chief Executive Officer and a Business Manager. Lobbying is carried pout mainly via the NASGP website and with reular email communications with members.
Its current work is divided mainly between issues relating to the lack of an independent trade union for salaried GPs and trying to support GP locums through the forthcoming hurdles of revalidation.
