I enjoy taking care of my monstera.

Hi! I'm Gen, a student at the College of Dupage. I'm interested in creative writing and literature. I've had my work published in a few places such as Plentiude Magazine and Same Faces Collective. I'm working on getting my published in other literary magazines as well. My favorite poets/writers include Hana Yanagihara, Ocean Vuoug, and Rachel McKibbens.

• Write poetry and fiction
• Listen to music
• Take care of my plants
• Read. A few of my favorite books are A Little Life and Sharp Objects.
• Learn guitar (began self-teaching in 2021). I use JustinGuitar, which is a fantastic reference.
• Journal and make zines
• Watch comedy tv-shows. My favorite shows are It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Office.
