Hello,
I'm relatively new to Wikipedia but I thought I'd write a note. I'm a marketer by profession but interested in getting involved on Wikipedia. If I'm using too much 'promotional language' please let me know. I am trying to be as neutral as I can but I am first and foremost a marketer so may need some coaching into neutral language.
I'm interested in the following topics:
- Marketing in general
- Digital Marketing specifically
- Marketing for Nonprofits
- Nonprofits
- Social Enterprise
- Social Good topics in general, including but not limited to:
- Feminism
- Modern Slavery
- Health Care
- Animal Welfare
- Human Rights
- Environment
Besides that I love to travel, and I love dogs.
I am originally from the Netherlands and am a bilingual English speaker. I live and work in the US since 2014 and have a bachelor in international business administration (English Bachelor from a University in the Netherlands) and a Master in International Marketing (from a business school in the US). I also know German pretty well and a little Spanish and French. I feel comfortable helping with translation projects Dutch-English, English-Dutch and German-English.
I think from now on I'll start translating and editing some articles to get a feel for what good Wikipedia pages look like.
