The Maple Avenue Monkey Warriors are a dangerous street gang based out of Downers Grove Illinois. Founded in late 2020, the group currently consist of about 8 members. The Monkey Warriors were founded by an anonymous group, and lead by a man who goes by “Big Mao”.
This group is involved loan sharking and racketeering. They are also know for violence with rival gangs.
The Monkey Warriors are currently fighting with the Gang Gang group, also out of Downers Grove, over a dispute involving boundaries.
The group has ambitions of joining the Chicago Folk Nation, an alliance of street gangs, and are quickly rising in members and popularity.
The Maple Avenue Monkey Warriors wear yellow and brown, and are highly dangerous, as they are easily provoked, and violent towards people outside their gang.
