Pesic Zoran date of birth 09th May 1951,High School of Economics in Belgrade,University of Economics Belgrade,University for Physical Education Novi Sad,Professional Football Coach,F.A. of Yugoslavia Professional Category Diploma, speaks German,English and Portuguese.SOCCER CAREER,22 Years of active playing in all selections of the PSL team, passing through the complete development from Junior to a Professional Senior.Played for F.C. Red Star team in Belgrade,Yugoslavia for 16 years, from Junior up to the Professional Senior. In a period of 11 years, I captained the team from the Midfield position. I played representing F.C. Red Star, starting from the junior and all the way to the First Team.I played for the National Team of Yugoslavia, in all selections: U – 17, U – 20 and U – 23.I also played in the Germany Bundesliga and Switzerland PSL. COACHING CAREER,in the 1990 as a coach of the F.C. Red Star (Youth Academy) Belgrade. When F.C. Red Star became a European Champion and the World Champion in 1991, I took part in the work of the active expert staff of the First Team. After I graduated at the University of Physical education in 1998 I was regularly included in the technical staff of the First Team of “F.C. Red Star”, where I worked until October 1999. At that stage I decided to move on overseas to Africa.First I came to Zimbabwe. I was engaged with “F.C. Dynamos Harare” as the Head Coach. I have completely re-organized and synchronized the entire squad, because the squad was in a very bad shape when I took over it from the past coach.I later transferred to “F.C. Amazulu” from Bulawayo. At the capacity of the Head Coach of the Team, I managed to create the best team in the country which brought us to the top of the Logs. In June 2000 I turned down the offer of ZIFA (Zimbabwean Football Association), which originally was: taking over at the capacity of a Head Coach of the following teams: U – 17, U – 20 and U – 23. I decided to go for the more lucrative offer in the Republic of South Africa.I got engaged with F.C. RIA Stars, Petersburg – RSA at the capacity of the Head Coach, at that stage the club was just promoted into the Premier Soccer League. I brought the team to the 3rd position on the Logs, and during that course I eliminated F.C. Kaiser Chiefs together with F.C. Celtics Bloemfontein from the Rothmans Cup. In the middle of that season I took over F.C. Manning Rangers Durban. The club was in the biggest crises ever, threatened to be relegated from the Premier Soccer League because of pure results it had. The coaches before me were Ted Dumitru, Eddy Lewis and Marvin Hauptflaish. After much hard work the results were inevitable and fantastic, the final result was that at the end of the season, F.C. Manning Rangers have survived and avoided the relegation from the Premier Soccer League. After that success I went to F.C. Hellenic Cape Town where I replaced Bruce Grobbelaar when I took over as head coach. I brought up the squad from the bottom of the log into the 7th position. In June 2003 in the middle of the season, I took over F.C. Inter Luanda from Angola. They were at the 10th position in the log. After much hard work and my elimination of a couple of stars (I eliminated several national team players-due to the lack of discipline and dedication) from the team. Then I promoted several new talented players from the junior selection and have completely stabilized and re-organized the whole squad. At the end of that season F.C. Inter - Luanda was at the 5th position on the logs.In November 2003, we won the Angola Golden National Cup. In year 2004 “F.C. Inter Luanda” will represent Angola in the African Cup of Nations.
