I am a freelance public relations practitioner in the Middle East and any edits that I make are almost certainly linked to a paid agreement. I will reflect my associations in the notes section wherever I edit - but as my clients and projects change regularly I may not have updated my profile.
Current clients include Sumo Sushi & Bento; MEPRA (The Middle East PR Association); Ooredoo Kuwait, Impact Hub and The Growing Leaders Foundation.
Also, I observe Wikipedia isn't perfect and relies on volunteers but is also a popular source of information. I argue for the right to immediately update any factually incorrect information for my clients limited to dates, names of executives, financial performance, logos etc, but wholly respect professional Wikipedia editors who feel the need to amend my posts. This is in the interest of the reader and to ensure the accuracy of Wikipedia as an information resource.
