This motto reflects the inclusionist desire to change Wikipedia only when no knowledge would be lost as a result.
Stevenmg is an academic librarian with extensive expertise in manuscripts, archives, digital collections, and descriptive practices (cataloging/metadata). His career has focused largely on documenting, preserving, and providing access to the history of the Mexican American experience in the United States; the Gay and Lesbian experience in the United States; as well as the experience of other non-majority groups.
