George Daniel Stevenson (architect)
George Daniel Stevenson (1846-1931) was an English architect. Initially assistant to Sir Horace Jones, in 1887 Stevenson became architectural consultant during the completion of Tower Bridge on the death of Jones.
Biography
George Stevenson was born in the parish of St Luke, Finsbury, London in 1848. He was the son of George Daniel Stevenson and Mary Ann Hawkes. In 1873 he married Emma Ann Punt, in the parish church, Islington.[1]
