THE SONGS OF BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN 1965 - 2010 book published in 2011
Since 1965, Bruce Springsteen has appeared on stage over 2200 times, performing over 1000 different songs. He has recorded over 400 songs, and released 17 studio albums, 5 live albums,and 6 compilation albums. This book attempts to document all the songs he has written, recorded or performed live. The setlists of many performances in the 1960's and early 1970's are unknown, so, although 1579 song titles are listed, many more songs are certain to have been performed. Songs are included that have never been mentioned as being performed by Springsteen previously, but were only included once definitive evidence confirmed the performance. If a performance cannot be confirmed, I have included the song, but noted that it is only rumoured to have been performed. I believe this book is as complete and accurate as it is possible to be, although additions and amendments would be very gratefully received, and, once confirmed, would be included in any future edition of this book. Also included, is a chronological list of debut performances of each song, tour song lists, and a list of all performers Bruce has appeared with.
