The Plot
editThe Bastard Gods details the journey of five Greek gods, who have recently become mortal, as they trace their way through Hell and towards Olympus in search of their lost immortality.
The Characters
editAfter Zeus's grandfather, Ouranos, returns and slaughters Zeus, the Olympians become mortal. And with sickle in hand, Ouranos exterminates the remainder of Zeus's children... But a few slip through his hands....
Medusa- The heartless snake of Olympus has become a mortal woman and must decide if she truly wants to live eternally with scales or the short life of a human.
Hades- Zeus' "ugly" brother uses his newfound mortality to escape into a halcyon of drugs and sex instead of dealing with his duty to Olympus, his brother and most importantly, the underworld.
Hermes- The patron god of thieves of liars attempts to keep his mantle as a human when he plays one bastard god against the other on the trip towards the underworld.
Artemis- The coldest, most heartless hunter there has ever been, joins the band of Bastard Gods as she is tempted by opportunity to fight against Hell as a mortal: the battle of many lifetimes...
Ares- The embodiment of rage, wants Hades keys into hell for himself, but after he is overwhelmed by the other Bastard Gods, he joins the group.
Ouranos- Castrated by Zeus and sent away. This God of the Sky has returned for vengeance. After destroying Zeus, Ouranos vows to stomp out his lineage, one member at a time.
