Marcus Blake

Marcus Blake (born Marcus Junca) is an American bassist in the band Mother Superior, and formerly bassist for the Rollins Band. He is a professional musician and singer, known for his funk-infused grooves and a style that favors the use of "counter melodies," often found in the work of other bassists such as Paul McCartney and James Jamerson.

Along with his work with Rollins and Mother Superior, Marcus also has a reputation as a session player, having both recorded with numerous artists in the studio and backed countless others on the road.
