Stu Brumbaugh (born August 11, 1974) is an American actor screenwriter director, known best for his role in the feature film "Iron Ridge", along with ["Brutus the Bear"], which Brumbaugh wrote, directed and starred in.

Early life

Stu Brumbaugh was born in Quincy, Illinois yet he lived near [Hannibal, Missouri] made famous by the author [|Mark Twain] in the novel [The Adventures of Tom Sawyer]. Stu eventually moved to [Great Falls, Montana] with his family, where he attended [Charles M Russell High School]. While in school; Stu constantly struggled to adjust and often found himself in trouble in and out of the academic scene. He eventually discovered acting through a local talent agent and soon began taking acting classes, performing as a model in runway shows, acting in local commercials and performed in several school plays. After high school, Stu realized that acting was his life. He moved to [Los Angeles] in 1994 and quickly began taking acting classes and production workshops at [The University of Southern California]. Brumbaugh's writing eventually landed him a small job at [Rubin Postaer and Associates] where he worked on numerous commercials as well as wrote copy for national companies like [American Honda], [Acura] [Discovery Channel]. Stu continued to act and appeared in dozens of films as well as several national commercials. Realizing that the advertising world wasn't for him; Stu eventually left the ad agency to follow his film career full time.

Career

Brumbaugh's ability to be flexible in his role decisions landed him various roles; from "The guy next door" which he portrayed in the film ["Iron Ridge"] which then easily transformed to the rough and tumble drifter vampire in the independent film "Night Life". Stu has played numerous roles in a variety of genre's along side actors [Olivia Hussey] and [Michael Parks] in the film ["Three Priests"] as well as [Clancy Brown] and [Clint Howard] in the upcoming film ["Sparks"] Brumbaugh is currently the CEO of [Yellow Wood Films L.L.C.]; A feature film production company based in Los Angeles, California. Stu continues to write, direct, produce and act in much of the content filtered through the company, as well as other projects from the outside. Stu is a member of [The Screen Actors Guild (SAG)], [AFTRA].
