editSyed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan is the spiritual head means, Dewan[1] of Ajmer Sharif Dargah[2][3] founded by Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti (Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz) according to THE DURGAH KHAWAJA SAHEB ACT, 1955 [4] He, the successor of Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz [5] He is also known as Dargah Dewan (Dewan of Dargah),[6] successor, ajjadanashin (current head) of the Chishti order,[7] Custodian,[6][7][8] Gaddinashin, Pir and Sheikhul Mashaeikh DewanSyed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan Sahib of the Ajmer Sharif Dargah. According to a judicial decree, he is the authority to receive 50 per cent of offerings made to Ajmer Sharif Dargah.[9]

editHe is the direct descendant as 22nd generation/ great grand-son of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.[10][11]
Activities
editHe used to visit and publicly speeches at different places and Shrines in land and abroad in view of religious and national political affairs.[1][12] Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray said, should be given the Bharat Ratna award[12] for his activities.[2]
