Dukagjin Lipa (born 2 March 1969)[1] is a Kosovo Albanian-born British business executive, former singer and . He is a father of singer-songwriter, Dua Lipa.
Early Life
editLipa is originally from Kosovo but left Pristina in 1992 and return back in 2006. He is the son of a historian, Seit Lipa (?-1999), who was the head of the Kosovo Institute of History from 1990 to 1995.[2][3]
Career
editLipa is a former singer in a former Kosovar rock band named, Oda.[4] [5] Lipa is a founder and CEO of Republika Communications Agency, organizes an international music festival called Sunny Hill Festival (along with his daughter, Dua) in 2018, and works with a charity organization called Sunny Hill Foundation.
