Peel Regional Road 3, also known as Britannia Road is a long regional road in the regional municipalities of Peel and Halton (where a large portion is designated as Halton Regional Road 6) in Ontario, Canada. It begins at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga and heads west to Burlington.

Route

edit

The road has two discontinuous sections. The eastern section begins at a restricted access entrance on Pearson airport's western edge. It travels west through industrial parks before ending at the junction of Highway 410 and Highway 401. The portion of the road inside the airport was lost during the construction of the old Malton Airport (today's Pearson). A section east of the airport still exists, but was renamed to "Elmbank Road."

The western section begins west of the 410/401 interchange at Kennedy Road. It heads west through industrial and commercial areas before passing over Highway 407 into Halton Region to become Halton Regional Road 6. It then passes through rural areas, loses it designation as Halton Regional Road 6 at Tremaine Road (Halton Regional Road 22), and ends in Burlington at Millburough Line.
