Rise of the Awakened (Japanese: 覚醒者の台頭UN-BROKEN, Hepburn: Kakusei-sha no Taitō Anburōkun) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koji Yoshizaki. It has been serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2010, with its chapters collected and published in 40 tankōbon volumes as of November 2022[update]. Set in the fictional location of Edo Ward in Tokyo, 16-year-old Osakan former shut-in Tsunagu Masugami, who is sent to attend a prestigious private school named Katsunara Academy, befriends a Lum named Lapis Lazuli, who is secretly an assassin-in-training.
