Robyn Lawley
Robyn Lawley (born June 13th 1989) is an international Plus size model, originating from Sydney, Australia. Lawley has been modeling since she was 16 but her success came, from when she became a fuller figure model at 19 (signed with Bella models). She has worked with leading magazines and companies in Australia such as, David Jones, Myer, Madison Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Shop till you drop, Autograph, Rio underwear, Berlei, Fine Lines, Australian Woman's Weekly and has now moved to New York to pursue her career further (signed with Wilhelmina's W curve division) . Lawley is breaking the mould of what a traditional 'plus size model' does and works with an array of high end photographers promoting a more realistic body image at a healthy US size 12.
"When I gained some weight," Robyn told TODAY, "and started doing plus-size modelling I just felt so much more at ease and happy and confident with myself, which was a real surprise.
"I thought it would be the absolute opposite, but I actually got a lot more happier."
