Steven P Van Loon (born 1975) is an American film producer. He was born near Detroit, Michigan, and grew up in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. After attending Michigan State University, he spent 20 years as a Software Engineer. In 2019, he transitioned to filmmaker by creating his first Short film named Mother's Empathy in 360-degree video about a black woman dealing with the loss of her child.
As of 2021, he continues working on short films to create immersive mixed reality experiences using Virtual Production.
