Swift Winds

Swift was a young foal with aspirations more than ten times his size; to become a Wonderbolt. The foal immediately, after coming to Ponyville from Cloudsdale (His birth town), met Wind Cheer and Applejack. Over the next week or so in Ponyville, he met Apple Fritter, Big Mac, Zecora, Azure Helm, Roseluck, and many other ponies. He was certainly a favorite of the ones in Ponyville rather quickly. During the (Dubbed by 'Anonymous') "The Great Pillow War" of 2012, he bravely jumped in front of a pillow directed at Rainbow Dash, who had not been paying attention. Swift had proclaimed Wind Cheer as his father after he spent a few days under the massive stallion's roof, and after meeting Golden Sands (Another pony in Ponyville), the foal called him "Uncle Goldie". Golden had given Swift a cloud watch (watch made to look like a cloud, but really is not a cloud), after a situation involving a grandfather clock earlier that morning.

Below are characters that are close to Swift, and their relationship to the pony:

Applejack: She's the first pony Swift ever met, after he hid in an open basket of hers while she was selling her apple wares. She is today one of his closest friends, and he loves her like a sister.

Wind Cheer: He is the proclaimed guardian/father figure of Swift, and took him into his household when the foal first came to town.

Soarin': Swift's idol, one of the Wonderbolts. He was challenged by the foal to a race, which was placed on the second Sunday of the foal's occupation of Ponyville.

Zecora: She is a very good friend of Swift's, and lent him a potion that could make him older for his race with Soarin', who would not race Swift due to him being a foal.

Golden Sands: Swift's "Uncle", often called "Uncle Goldie". He is held in high regard by Swift.

How he got his cutie mark:

During his training for his race against Soarin', he made a promise to himself that he would give he would give up anything if he could get something to help him fly better, and pushed himself beyond his limits during his training, which revealed his true special talent: Flying. However, what he didn't know is that his cutie mark is indeed the Wonderbolts logo.
