Hey there, everyone. I'm Symms, and I'm a brand-new Wikipedian, but I've had a lot of experience with MediaWiki in the past. I'll undoubtly make mistakes during my time here, so I'd appreciate it if you let me know if I do. Hopefully, I'll be of some use to the community.

Just to give you some information about myself, I'm an award-winning high school journalist, and our publication is a Columbia Scholastic Press Association Crown Award Winner. I'm also working on my Novell CNA Certification, so I'm pretty well-versed with technology. For those of you interested, my personal laptop is a Compaq Presario. Not exactly the most powerful, but I run a much more powerful desktop that I do most of my development on.

In addition to my work on technology and journalism, I'm very involved with politics, having served as a North Carolina Senate Page. I'm a democrat, and I'm involved with my local Democratic Party.
