These are my personal notes. Do not attempt discussion on this page.
(Special:Contributions/Sam_Spade)
- In January 2006
- User:Sam Spade tagged pages for merger
- then same-day he merged them
- His changes were reverted and discussion was held
- The discussion was largely a failure, and he pressed his mergers
- I was flagged down in real life to mediate
- February 25, 2006
- I wrote comments on the talk pages of those involved (non-anonymous users)
- I wrote an explanation on Talk:Systema, most especially to point towards my original (then-deleted) comment that I broke apart the topics on purpose and they should stay separate.
- Spade reverted my changes, obviously without reading the talk page.
- I forced the changes
- I opened up a case in Wikipedia:Vandalism in progress to report his reversions, and informed him.
- He came to discuss it, but fell flat at arguing his points. ([1])
- I took the time to revise all associated articles, to make them fuller and more distinct.
- I pointed out on Talk:Systema that my original comment on Talk:Kadochnikov's Systema was mis-used.
- I took a break
- Spade opened a case at Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal (Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-02-25 Systema) without informing me. I found it by checking Special:Contributions/Sam_Spade to see what other nonsense he was playing at.
- I commented in Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-02-25 Systema to note his comment on his talk page that appears to point to a resolution.
- I got a response to my VIP report [5]. Apparently Spade had duped an admin into removing the VIP request. I responded [6]
- The admin added, then removed notes from Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard (added: [7], removed: [8], overall: [9])
I'm not entirely sure how my conversation ended up on Wikipedia:Requests for investigation [10], as I never edited this page. It seems to be a duplication of Wikipedia:Vandalism in progress.
