Thank you, sincerely, for participating in my RfA.

The advice and criticism — from supporters, opposers and neutrals alike — is invaluable, and I consider it to be part of the trust placed in me by the community. I expect the community to hold me to certain standards, and to require a certain level of decorum in some areas, above and beyond the usual requirements. With that in mind, I remind you that I'm subject to recall by the community.

There's an essay for another time, and I'm sure none of you want to hear my philosophies right now, but this process has made me think long and hard about WP:AGF and WP:CIVIL, and about what I can do and what other editors can do. It probably won't come as a big surprise that I'm reluctant to use the mop in many areas, initially. I intend to be fairly uncontroversial until I'm more experienced - I won't do this for at least a year or two ;-) I intend to start with the areas listed in my RfA, WP:RFPP in particular. However, there's things I have to catch up on first (I know, I should have read it much sooner, but I didn't want to seem presumptious...)

So - thank you all! TFOWR 20:25, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

I know! I hit the + (new section) tab each time, and it's not got an edit summary field. Very disappointed. Seriously, though, I do intend to moderate my edit summaries - I've realised they're a lot more visible and potentially a lot more useful to people than I'd assumed. But the humour will remain...! Happy Wikipeding! I'm sure you'll be a great admin! So long as you don't do this! ~ QwerpQwertus ·_Talk_·----------Talkback%20Me%20Here----------#&autosummary=Talkback _Talkback Me_· 22:22, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

Late to the party, but no less welcome

edit

Holy cow, I've been on a Wiki-break for just a little over a month and, as a result, I missed your entire RfA! I'm sorry to have arrived late to the party and I know it won't be official, but you can consider my Strong Support vote as #107 in favor! Congrats!! • CinchBug • 17:30, 1 July 2010 (UTC) Copied from talkpage

Hi there TFOWR, I see you passed RfA while I was away! Not to worry {I don't need to block Nimbley socks for you now :)}, though I would like to mention that had I been around at the time, I would have supported your candidacy. Best.
