This userbox can be used to point to your userpage on sister Wikipedias. It accepts two optional parameters: the "prefix" and a page on the sister Wikipedia. If the first parameter is omitted the userbox will default to the English Wikipedia. The second parameter can more usefully be omitted: it is only required if the page on the sister Wikipedia is different to your userpage here.
Usage

Examples
edit
This user has a page here. |
Not very useful — particularly if used on your userpage

This user has a page on de.wiki. |
Probably the most useful variant for editors with the same username across all projects.

This user has a page on fr.wiki. |
Useful if you use an alternative username on another project.
Known limitations
edit- The userbox assumes that the Wikipedia "prefix" is also used as a suffix for the sister wiki's image. If this isn't the case bad things will probably happen.
- It would be nice if the bold "wiki name" linked to the sister wiki. I couldn't find an easy way to do this (I didn't try very hard...) Obviously I tried stuff like
:de
and:de:
. The problem I had was predicting what "Main Page" is in various languages...:de:Main Page
doesn't work, for obvious reasons. One solution would be to usede.wiki
, but that's pretty ugly. The closest I came to getting this to work was with:de:
— but this fell apart as soon as I attempted to use a pipe in the link. And yes, I tried
instead of a pipe...!
