THE IMPERIOUS DORK (dim.: DORK; must be written in all-caps) is a Filipino multimedia designer, former customer service representative, public servant, social justice and disability rights activist, food and travel reviewer, and autistic self-advocate.
He started to appear in Wikipedia on 9 July 2007 (15 Jumada al-Thani 1428 AH, 22 Messidor 215 AR), and started creating his first article in Wikipedia: an article on De La Salle University-Dasmariñas's official student newspaper, the Heraldo Filipino, of which he became its first Graphics Editor. He then started work on other HF- and DLSU-D-related articles on Wikipedia, until he decided to focus on redirects, which, in his opinion, is easier.
Why "THE IMPERIOUS DORK"?
edit
Actually, the DORK's name is Gerard. He coined the name "The Imperious One" for a title to his Multiply blog as a result of his frustration. Soon, the name evolved to "The Imperious Dork," in reference to Steve Smith of American Dad!, which is modeled on the stereotypical dork. Gerard happened to relate easily with Steve in terms of character, thus garnering a self-title, being the dorkish kid that he was, and still is. Now, to further emphasize his title, as well as to give himself a specific identity, he decided to use "THE IMPERIOUS DORK" in all upper-case letters. So there.
I see he has that Autistic userbox there. Is he really autistic?
edit
Latest update: Yes. He is autistic. While he was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 3, he came into terms with his autism twenty years later.
Where can I see what he has already contributed?
